Standard Installation & Operation Methods

1.Thoroughly clean the shaft, bearing housing and oil seal without impurities.

2.Check the bearing for damage and confirm the correct model.

3.Apply sufficient Caterpillar special grease.

4.Heat the inner ring to 80–100°C before assembly.

5.Press in evenly with special tools, no hammering.

6.Ensure alignment and adjust axial clearance.

7.Tighten the nut to standard torque.

8.Replace with a new oil seal to ensure good sealing.

9.Replenish grease or change oil regularly.

10.Monitor operating temperature ≤80°C, no abnormal noise or vibration.

11.Avoid overload and heavy impact.

12.Stop the machine immediately for inspection if abnormal.
